The Toyota Raize can be had with either a 1.2-liter engine mated to a five-speed slushbox or a CVT as well as a 1.0-liter turbocharged mill mated to a CVT.

3. Toyota Vios

There’s a reason why the Vios is one of the most popular choices for ride-hailing companies. Not only are Toyotas ever-reliable but models like the Vios, are also fuel-efficient. The Toyota Vios can be had with either a 1.3-liter or a 1.5-liter engine with the former being the foremost option for transport service fleets.

It clocks in at 8.3kpl in the city and around 20 to 23kpl when driving on the highways.

4. Toyota Avanza

Touted as the ideal family car, one of the Toyota Avanza’s strongest suits is its fuel efficiency. Owners of the refreshed MPV report an average fuel consumption of about 20kpl when driving on the open road and about 16kpl when in the urban jungle.

The new Avanza is equipped with a 1.3-liter engine that can be mated to either a manual tranny or a CVT.
