Toyota reveals ‘Gazoofied’ Prius

Toyota has unveiled a Gazoofied version of the Prius dubbed the “Prius 24h Le Mans Centennial GR Edition.”

It was unveiled at the “Japan. Endless Discovery.” joint exhibit held by the Japan National Tourism Organization, Mazda Motor Corporation, and the Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) Manufacturers’ Village for the 100th anniversary of the Le Mans 24 Hours in France.

The “Prius 24h Le Mans Centennial GR Edition” is based on the latest-generation Prius and expresses gratitude to Le Mans and France’s Automobile Club de l’Ouest, which is the organizer of the race.

Unique appointments slapped on the “Prius 24h Le Mans Centennial GR Edition” include a set of exclusive wheels and performance-oriented aerodynamic kits inspired by TGR’s World Endurance Championship (WEC)-competing GR010 Hybrid.

The aforementioned body kits include side skirts, canards, a large rear wing, a rear diffuser, and a lightweight carbon-fiber hood. Further, Toyota gave the “Prius 24h Le Mans Centennial GR Edition” additional multi-headlamps for improved nighttime visibility.

Aside from the “Japan. Endless Discovery.” exhibit, the “Prius 24h Le Mans Centennial GR Edition” will also be displayed at the WEC’s Round 6, which is the Six Hours of Fuji endurance race, and other events.
