The Mitsubishi Mirage G4 is available in four variants: (1) GLX 1.2L MT, (2) GLX 1.2L CVT, (3) GLS 1.2L MT, and (4) GLS 1.2L CVT. The entry-level variant of the Mirage G4 is priced at PHP666,000 while the top-of-the-line model is at PHP769,000. Of note, the Mirage G4 is manufactured in the Philippines since February 2017.The top Mirage G4 variant, the GLS CVT, is powered by a 1.2-liter gasoline engine that delivers 77 hp and 100 Nm of torque. Exterior
The Mirage G4 has a simple exterior yet in can go head-to-head with the designs of its competitors. This means that you could easily fit up to five overnight bags in the G4's trunk. Moreover, the trunk is said to have the capacity to fit two to three golf bags.
Safety
The top Mirage G4 variant comes with standard safety features such as dual front airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS), and brake override system (BOS). The infotainment system also acts as a rear-view monitor when you shift the gear into reverse.
Our Verdict
The Mirage G4 is an ideal choice if you're looking to buy a subcompact sedan that you would use as a daily city car. This car is one of the best urban jungle machines considering its compact body and relatively fuel efficient engine. The only hurdle we could see with the G4 is its price. Compared to its rivals, the G4 is a few thousands more expensive.
