Ford Everest – All you Need to Know

Local road conditions worsen in the wake of the recent Taal Volcano eruption. Highways and thoroughfares near the affected cities collapsed as the volcano mercilessly shook the ground, unforgiving ashfalls were reported as far as Quezon City, and freeways in the South were covered in thick smog and ash making it nearly impossible to drive in. Didn’t we all wish we had a vehicle reliable and dependable enough to plow through the ashes and take us to safety? You’ll find no shortage of such vehicles in the local automotive landscape with the Ford Everest being one of the forerunners– and for good reason. This seven-seater off-road SUV is packed with purpose-built features that were designed and engineered to let you and your family breeze through tough terrains and unexpected obstacles. Whether you’re out exploring or faced with roads filled with palpable tension on your way home, the 2020 Ford Everest has what it takes to see you through. Here’s how much it would take to bring one home. Pop the hood and you’ll be greeted by Ford’s powerful new-generation Turbo Diesel engines. The base variant offers 178 horses and 420 Nm of torque while its beefier big brother delivers 210 buff horses and 500 Nm of torque.  Here’s how both engines stack up. At the back, you’ll find matching tail lights that use the same LED technology as the ones in the front. You'll also find puddle lamps, roof rails, and running boards in both variants. The side mirrors are power-adjustable and foldable and are equipped with subtle turn signals. The only difference between the 4x2 and 4x4 variants in terms of their exterior features is the panoramic moonroof. Interior The cabin of the 2020 Ford Everest benefits from its immense and extensive frame. That said, its interior offers room to accommodate various features centered around comfort and convenience. Passengers can easily recharge laptops, drones, and other gadgets on-the-go through the 12V outlets found on the first and second-row seats inside the cabin.
