LC300 HEV now available at Toyota PH dealerships

MANILA: After being showcased at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has immediately made available the hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) version of the Land Cruiser LC300 in its dealer network.

In a statement, the company said that the model, which joined the nameplate’s diesel-powered version, will provide a huge jump in terms of efficiency and performance.

“The Land Cruiser HEV is part of Toyota’s efforts in offering different powertrains that address our customers’ needs and lifestyles. Customers who want to experience the legendary heritage and proven performance of the Land Cruiser while having access to Toyota’s hybrid technology will find this car to be the perfect choice as their partner on the road,” TMP First Vice President for Vehicle Sales Operations Elijah Sue Marcial was quoted as saying.

“We hope the addition of the Land Cruiser HEV to Toyota’s wide lineup of cars gives our customers the power of choice when it comes to their mobility needs,” she added.

Vehicle specifications

Outside, the Toyota Land Cruiser LC 300 HEV wears the same shape as its pure internal combustion engine-powered counterpart, except for some minor aerodynamic details as well as blue portions that hint at its electrified configuration.

Other notable portions that can be found on the vehicle are:

• Rain-sensing wipers
• Power tailgate with kick activation
• Roof rails
• Power-folding/adjustable side mirrors with memory and heating
• Tilting moonroof
• Rear spoiler

Meanwhile, the Toyota Land Cruiser LC 300 HEV’s seven-seater cabin is covered with leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, a 60:40 split-folding (and tumbling) second row, a 50:50-split third row, and a dual-zone automatic climate control system. 

Its key comfort creatures include:

• 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster
• Electronic parking brake
• Leather tilt and telescopic steering wheel
• 14-piece JBL speaker set
• 12.3-inch infotainment with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
• Wireless smartphone charging pad
• Drive mode selector
• Keyless entry

Powering the vehicle is a 24-valve double overhead cam, 3.5-liter, V6, twin-turbocharged gasoline-fed engine with an electric motor mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain configuration can deliver:

Aside from that, the vehicle has four-wheel ventilated-type disc brakes, a suspension system made up of double wishbone-type at the front, and multi-link version for the rear.

Providing further assurance to its owners are its suite of technologies under Toyota Vehicle Security System and Toyota Safety Sense.

With prices ranging between P6.93 million-P6.945 million, the Toyota Land Cruiser LC 300 HEV can be had in the following color options:

• Attitude Black Mica
• Silver Metallic
• Gray Metallic
• Precious White Pearl (premium color option)
