Topics tackled at AVID’s 2022 Landscape Industry Forum included post-pandemic challenges and opportunities in the local automotive industry and insights on current and future mobility trends.During the recently-held Landscape Industry Forum, the consortium foresees a strong demand for automobiles in 2023.
Further, the strength of its partner brands is expected to drive sales of imported vehicles in the Philippines.

Counting on the strength of our individual brands and strong demand, we are here ready to heed and respond to consumer calls for mobility solutions that best suit the need of the times,” said AVID President Maria Fe Perez-Agudo.
During the aforementioned event, AVID also engaged guest experts in an informal industry briefing.
Mondriaan Group Partner Gerrit Kuyntjes talked about post-pandemic challenges and opportunities in the automotive industry. Meanwhile, Embiggen Group Head of Business Development Marrione Pol Camacho shared projections on current and future mobility trends. Lastly, Department of Energy (DOE) Undersecretary and Director of the Energy Utilization Management Bureau Patrick Aquino reported the status of the country’s roadmap for the electric vehicle industry.
AVID is a private non-stock, non-profit business association. Its membership consists of 18 leading auto companies, representing 19 global brands, that are one in advocating for the effective management of diverse commercial, consumer, and legislative aspects that affect the Philippine automotive industry and the Philippine economy.
Its brand members include Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BYD, Changan Auto, Chevrolet, Ford, GAC, Hyundai’s truck and bus division, JAC, Lamborghini, Lotus, Mini, Piaggio, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, Subaru, Suzuki, and Volvo.
