This car needs no introductions. In fact, we only need to say "Civic" and everyone knows what we’re talking about. The funny thing is, you don’t even need to include Honda here. It only takes one word to define who made it and what the car stands for. And the name "Civic" will suffice, thank you very much.Still, we have to make sure we’re up-to-date here, since a vehicle with this kind of reach and popularity deserves no less than utter devotion (especially from its fans). And with the All-New Civic in full gear, it’s time to give you some info on what to expect next.
The newest Honda Civic uses SOHC i-VTEC for its engine, and a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) Earth Dreams Technology transmission. It can churn out 139 hp @ 6,500 rpm, with a maximum torque at 174 Nm @ 4,300 rpm. Its suspension is a MacPherson Strut with Stabilizer (Front) / Independent Multi-Link (Rear).
It has a Euro 4 emissions rating, and external features that include an Auto On/Off function, LED side turn lights, space saver spare tire, and auto leveling headlight adjuster.
Interior-wise, the new Honda Civic has child lock and child seat anchors, auto brake hold, anti-lock brake system, emergency stop signal, hill start assist, vehicle stability assist, seatbelt reminder function (for driver and front passenger), dynamic, multi-view reverse camera, security alarm, and a car door that can be programmed to lock or unlock by itself via audio.
