New and Used Hyundai Galloper for Sale Philippines

Hyundai Galloper for sale Philippines | Hyundai Galloper price Philippines | Black Hyundai Galloper

The Hyundai Galloper is a defunct full-size sport utility vehicle that was released in 1991 and discontinued in 2003. The vehicle was also known as the Hyundai Galloper Exceed, Hyundai Galloper Innovation, Asia Galloper, and Mitsubishi Galloper in other markets. Onlookers will immediately think that it looks too much like the Mitsubishi Pajero of old, and that’s because the vehicle is actually a rebadged version of Mitsubishi’s seminal SUV. More specifically, the Hyundai Galloper was a rebadged Mitsubishi Pajero from the first and second generation. The Galloper was assembled by the Hyundai Precision & Industries Corporation until 1999, when assembly was assumed by its mother company, Hyundai Motors. Despite its short lifespan, buyers of a 2nd hand Hyundai Galloper will love the fact that they get to own a spacious vehicle that comes with Mitsubishi’s reputation for quality at just a fraction of the price.

Hyundai Galloper Review in the Philippines

Hyundai Galloper Specs and Performance

The Galloper enjoyed gasoline and diesel engine versions during its release. The Hyundai Galloper gasoline engine is a 3.0-liter V6 performer, while the diesel is a 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder powerhouse. Transmission options for the Galloper include a 4-speed automatic and a 5-speed manual. An ActiveTrac feature allows the driver to select different drive modes to suit the terrain. Drivers get to choose between two-wheel drive, four-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive settings. All the modes include active traction control.

Like most SUVs during its time, the Hyundai Galloper Philippines combined rugged power with sleek luxury. The vehicle was a very respectable off-roader, and offered a very comfy and relaxing drive. Even if it couldn’t match the capabilities of the best of its class, it served these purposes well.

Hyundai Galloper Fuel Consumption

Hyundai Galloper Interior

The full-sized Hyundai Galloper has plenty of space for seven occupants—two in the front, three in the middle, and two in the third row seats that fold flat into the floor for more boot space if necessary. The base model comes with sporty fabric seats, but leather upholstery is available for the top-of-the-line models. Other key interior features in the Galloper include:

Hyundai Galloper Price List in the Philippines

The Hyundai Galloper is majorly a right hand drive (RHD) vehicle—it is only the European versions that come in a left hand drive (LHD) configuration. That said, some of the Gallopers you may see sold in the 2nd hand cars for sale market are actually knock-down and built-up vehicles that have been converted from RHD to LHD. As mentioned, the Galloper was sold from 1999 to 2003, so if you see a Galloper made more recently than this, it is likely a converted vehicle. Below are some of the 2nd hand Hyundai Galloper for sale that you may find in Carmudi’s inventory:
