2019 Toyota Altis

What started as the Corolla when it was first given life in the 1960s, was baptized with the new name Corolla Altis in 2000.

The 2019 Toyota Altis is now on its 11 th generation and has shown no signs of slowing down--well except for the implementation of the TRAIN law. Very far from how it looked back then, the Altis packs a lot of punch with more amenities to love.

This compact sedan from the highly-appreciated brand is in close competition with the Hyundai Elentra and Honda Civic, to name a few.

Its price ranges from as low as P961,000 up to P1.477 million.

The 2019 Toyota Altis has features that marries class with performance.

For a five-seater compact sedan, the leg and headroom of the 2019 Toyota Altis is more than sufficient, giving occupants a more premium feel inside.

Check the outside and you will see that it has a modern look which has deviated from the conservative look of its older-generations. Thanks to its redesigned front fascia, grille, and sleek headlights, the Altis now has a more futuristic/sporty look, complemented by the sporty 16- to 17-inch alloy wheels where it sits on.

On the inside, the top-tier V variant of the 2019 Altis sports leather seats with the driver seat enjoying six-way power adjustment system with lumbar support to provide utmost comfort to the captain of the vehicle. Leather accents inside include the shift knob, rear console box, and steering wheel.

The elegant interior designed is matched to the Optitron Multi-information panel and the black center instrument panel, as well as the automatic climate-control digital push panel.

Available hues for the 2019 Toyota Altis are White Pearl Crystal Shine, Attitude Mica Black, Red Mica Metallic, Grey Metallic, Freedom White, and Super White.

With performance comes safety. And so, the Altis is fitted across all variants with seatbelts, Electronic Stability Control, and numerous airbags (dual front, side, curtain and driver’s knee airbags).

Key features include back sonar, Power-retractable side-view mirrors, and illuminated entry system.

Space is more than ample since the Altis is stretched compared to its first-generation sibling, and a longer wheelbase means more room for long-legged individuals. Aside from that, trunk space got bigger too.
